Rick Lemcke grew up working on his father’s farm in Hilton NY, but realized early on that farming was not for him. He wanted a company where he could control his own fate. He chose the landscaping industry because he felt his personality would be a good match. Rick graduated from Monroe Community College with a business administration degree. His brother Michael completed a landscape architecture program at SUNY Cobleskill and they merged their experience to form R.M. Landscape in 1973.
